Social Innovation and Systems Change

Urban Matters CCC

Jill brings over two decades of experience to her work supporting social entrepreneurs and multi-stakeholder groups to effect meaningful, systemic change. Jill designs and facilitates processes that bring people from across backgrounds and sectors together around a complex challenge. These diverse stakeholders find shared understanding and a common purpose, co-create and test new models, and implement high-potential solutions. As a certified coach, Jill takes a coaching approach to all her work, seeking to ensure that any initiative she is involved in strengthens the capacity of the group to move forward autonomously. Jill’s own background bridges sectors, having worked with organizations in the public, private and community sectors. With an MBA from the Haskayne School of Business, Jill is now working towards a Doctor of Social Sciences at Royal Roads University focusing on multi-sectoral systems change. An avid yogi and outdoor enthusiast, Jill delights in time spent on her yoga mat, paddling, running, skiing or snowshoeing with family and friends. Jill and her family make their home in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
